About the Biomat®: The Biomat® is an FDA approved device that converts electricity into Far Infrared Rays (FIR), nature’s invisible light. It produces negative ions, nature’s energizer. Negative ions are abundant in natural environments such as forests, mountains, waterfalls, and oceans. Just as negative ions clean our air, they also clean out our cells. The deep penetrating power of Far Infrared Rays stimulates every system of the body from the inside out. As Infrared is radiated into the body, it resonates with the frequencies of organic molecules and cells causing them to vibrate, heat up and expand. Relax the body, allow yourself to sink into the mat. Aromatherapy is optional, choose your essence or allow me to choose for you. The bed is warm and generates heat. You can lay in quiet, listening to an ambient waterfall, or with headphones listening to my music options. It's up to you & what you find most relaxing. If you have any questions, please ask prior to booking. What to wear: It is advised that you wear something comfortable & easy. Yoga workout type clothes are very common. You can wear socks if you get cold easily. Please remove jewelry such as bracelets, watch, necklace. How to prepare: Plan ahead! Miami is unpredictable with traffic. You want to make sure to give yourself enough time to find parking, arrive to building, check-in. Instructions will be emailed prior to appointment. Drink plenty of water! Avoid caffeinated drinks. Do not schedule an appointment if you are: Pregnant, nursing a baby, had organ transplant, or have a pacemaker or other electronic device in your body. No refund is provided for cancellations within 4 days of your session date and time. You may reschedule your session up to 72 hours prior to your session date and time.
